Several ancient sculptures from different civilizations show the presence of mysterious bags, supported by the various subjects represented in the artifacts. Comparing them to our times, we could almost say that we have a strong resemblance to fashion bags so used and loved by women. But why are hundreds of representations in different cultures of the past showing strange characters portrayed holding a sort of mysterious “bag”?

Referring to the series of English books entitled The Earth Chronicles Series by Zacharia Sitchin, there seem to be different meanings associated with the accessories represented in the ancient sculptures of this type.

In these books, particular attention is given to the Sumerian representations, which seem rich in eagle-headed men carrying these small mysterious bags, or objects that look like handbags.

Furthermore, the men depicted also seem to have a kind of cone in their hands and a flowered watch (image below).

In the following sculpture, located in the archaeological site of La Venta, there is represented a man sitting inside that seems a sort of technological medium with the shape of a snake or a dragon. The man has a helmet and uses one of his mysterious bags to energize his flying machine.

La Venta is a pre-Columbian archaeological site of the Olmec civilization, located in the Mexican state of Tabasco and this sculpture that represents this man intent on setting in motion his “snake machine” is an Olmeco artifact originating from Central America, whose ancient civilization seemed to possess the same technology also reported in the representations of the ancient Sumerians.

But the mystery thickens if we also consider the excavations of the Göbekli Tepe: the famous archaeological site located in today’s Turkey, dating back to the beginning of the Neolithic or at the end of the Mesolithic. The oldest example of a stone temple started around 9500 BC was found. Its construction must have involved hundreds of men, engaged over three or five centuries. The earliest known architectural evidences were the Sumi ziqqurat, dated 5,000 years later.

In this place are in fact sculptures dating back to about 11000 years ago, and some of them represent 3 BAGS (see image) that make you think, in this case, to something more than a simple battery or a power supply: something “Powerful” and technologically advanced.

there are millions of other sculptures scattered around the world, and belonging to other civilizations, which seem to represent the bags only as an accessory of embellishment.

So what do you believe in? Only a personalized, specific and intuitive search can perhaps give us the answers we want or … maybe not.
