Rhizobium 根瘤菌属

本属的模式种为豆根瘤菌:Rhizobium leguminosarum

Rhizobium aggregatum 集结根瘤菌

(ag.gre.ga'tum. L. neut. adj. aggregatum joined together, referring to the frequent formation of rosettes)

此菌的原名为:Blastobacter aggregatus Hirsch and Müller 1986.

Rhizobium alkalisoli 碱土根瘤菌

Rhizobium alamii 奥氏根瘤菌

(a.la'mi.i. N.L. gen. masc. n. alamii of Alami, named in honour of Younes Alami, who isolated strain YAS34 and demonstrated its effect on non-legume plant growth).

Gr. pref. endo, within; Gr. phuton, plant; L. neut. suff. -icum, adjectival suffix used with the sense of belonging to; N.L. neut. adj. endophyticum, within plant, endophytic, pertaining to the isolation of the type strain from plant tissues.
