有人说我的中文太差，不要了。他们不明白。一个学生发邮件说“虽然您中文真差，帮助我了解你的英文”。直接写中文（以后翻译英文）是‘风洒沙风格’‘好多用办法’。包括，比如，反废话。提高自己的中英文也好，但内容最重要。语言重要，因为第一课讲过：根本科学，“万物理论”，不是经验科学。所以，第二课就关于根本语言。 Some people already told me that my Chinese is too bad, I should leave it out. They do not understand. A student emailed and wrote, “Although your Chinese is really bad, it helps me to understand your English.” Directly writing Chinese (then translating into English) is an FSS-Style ‘highly multipurpose method’. It includes, for example, avoidance of sophistry. Improving our Chinese/English is good, too, but the content is the most important. And language is the most important, because, as the first lesson already taught: Fundamental Science, "The Theory of Everything" (TOE), is not empirical science. Therefore, the second lesson is about fundamental language.

时间多快？每一秒钟一秒钟 = 1s/1s = 1。如果明天1000倍快，有什么不一样？已经结束？从不？2s/1s 不行。时间自己不能快、慢，自己没有办法流动。How fast is the time? One second per second = 1s/1s = 1. If it is 1000 times faster tomorrow, what will be different? Is it already over? Never? 2s/1s makes no sense. Time itself can not be fast, or slow; there is no way for it to flow.

Parmenides(帕梅尼季斯)， Zeno(泽诺)，可能老子，已经2600年前知道，“万物理论”内“时间的流动”只是感觉。注意：这个，和‘多世界’，不是相对论或量子力学的结果！记得：根本科学，“万物理论”，不是经验科学。Parmenides and Zeno, perhaps Laozi, they knew already 2600 years ago that in the TOE description, the “flow of time” is just a feeling. Nota Bene: This, as well as ‘Many Worlds’, is not some result of modern relativity theory or quantum mechanics! Remember: Fundamental science is not empirical science.

In fact, I can derive special relativity theory from such TOE (a priori/transcendental, metaphysically necessary). People refuse it, misunderstand, much like Zeno and Laozi were already misunderstood, rejected. People are afraid of such, because brains, language, society all co-evolved. The TOE makes people afraid about having no choices, about that other people may no longer feel responsible for their actions, and so on. “Free Will an illusion – then why do you lecture this; what could be its use?”

“有意的方向”根本说都是突现/出现/浮现的。可是人觉得，如果不“真的”，就不可能，没有影响。更多数学不会帮助。我们必须修改语言。哪里要改变？这种误解很像误解进化论。句子（S1）：“长颈鹿开发了长的脖子到达树冠。 “Intentional directions”, fundamentally speaking, are all appearances/apparent/emergent. But people feel that if it is not “real”, it would be impossible, there could be no effects. Yet more mathematics will not help us here. We have to modify our language. How should we change it? These misconceptions are much like misunderstanding the theory of evolution. Sentence (S1): “Giraffes developed long necks to reach the canopy (tree crowns).”

普通人觉得长颈鹿想长脖子。平庸的科学家认为物种或基因想要生存。大多数科学家混淆“进化”和“进步”。Common people think giraffes desire long necks. Mediocre scientists think that the species or genes want to survive. Most scientists confuse evolution and progress.

S1是缩写。翻译到完全科学对了的版很麻烦，版太长，所以我们用缩写。最根本上说,“我想要”跟“物种想要”一样严重的幻象。都是缩写。“翻译到科学版”，长不长，人就不要“翻译”，怕“翻译”，主张“翻译”版是不道德。所以，教“根本版”与先进的伦理是一致的，很重要。S1 is an abbreviation. Translating into a completely scientifically correct version is troublesome, such versions are too long, therefore the abbreviations. Fundamentally, “I want” is as much of an illusion as “the species wants”. These are abbreviations. However, the “scientific translation”, long or not, people do not want that “translation”, they fear it, they claim it is unethical/immoral. Therefore, teaching that the fundamental version is in harmony with advanced ethics is important.

多世界内1）未来有和谐社会和2）我们想要，决定，路上怎么做，跟科学一致，这个两个也一致。它们都在一起有和谐，要不然就不“和谐”。拒绝这种和谐（比如，白左反科学），跟没有和谐（西方衰败），也一致。不一致是：和谐未来还拒接和谐。路上，我们什么时候才能停止拒绝基础科学？ Among all worlds, 1) the future having a harmonious society and 2) our wanting, decisions, what we do on the way, consistent with science, these two are also in harmony. They are all in harmony together, otherwise there is precisely no such “harmony”. Rejecting such harmony (for example, “liberal White” anti-science) and the absence of such harmony (decay of the Western hemisphere), are also consistent. Inconsistent is: A harmonious future that refuses such harmony. On the way, when will we stop rejecting fundamental science?

从2600多年前一直太早。可是现在，在中国，新时代开设了，一直强调科学，和谐。 东方思想本来就对一些最根本的事情比较了解;佛教的核心是无神论。西不听东。但是中国了解: 虽然西方人不能和谐解决基本矛盾，一个西方人来分析基本矛盾还很有用。(东方理论与实践的和谐对于‘中国特色社会主义’是必要的, 但没有人否认马克思的科学社会主义对其很重要。)这个都，和更多，包括现代科学的几个危机，都让我觉得，教这种课是我现在的道德责任，也可能它们会受欢迎的。 It has been too early since more than 2600 years ago. But now, in China, a new era started, one that all along emphasized science, and harmony. Eastern thought has been anyway somewhat more understanding of certain fundamental topics; Buddhism’s core is atheism. The West does not listen to the East. However, China understands: Although Westerners cannot harmoniously solve them, a Westerner’s analysis of ‘fundamental contradictions’ can be very useful. (Eastern harmony between theory and practice was necessary for ‘Socialism with Chinese Characteristics’, yet nobody denies that Marx’s Scientific Socialism has been important for it.) All this, and more, including the crises of modern science, let me arrive at that I should teach such lectures now, that perhaps they are even welcomed.
