JAS在计算机、控制系统、人工智能领域排名世界第17。附此三个领域全球TOP20出版物名录
今日，Elsevier发布出版物影响力榜单2020 CiteScore™，对收录于Scopus数据库的上万种同行评审期刊等的影响力做出了最新评估。根据该榜单，IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica （自动化学报英文版）的2020年CiteScore为11.2，是2019年的1.4倍，首次突破11，再创新高！
JAS在Scopus数据库属于计算机信息系统、控制与系统工程、人工智能三个领域，已连续三年稳居所属各领域Q1区前列，今年在所属三个领域的排名挺进世界第17，在计算机信息系统领域排名前5%（17/329）、控制与系统工程领域排名前6% （17/260）、人工智能领域排名前7%（17/227）。
CiteScore 是Elsevier基于旗下Scopus数据库统计的学术期刊质量评价指标，每年发布一次。去年起，CiteScore计算方式为期刊在前四年间的篇均引次。Elsevier官方表示，CiteScore 定位为这样一个工具：帮助研究人员决定哪里发论文、哪里读论文、哪些研究者值得合作；帮助图书馆员和信息专家管理收录范围；帮助机构领导者展示研究成果、评估研究策略；帮助出版方评判出版物业绩。
