作者向SCI期刊投稿前,要上Web of Science数据库查一下2014年在这个期刊发表的文章是否已收录到数据库了，如果已经收录了2014年的文章，那么2014年发表该刊论文都会被收录。但是，如果这个期刊已过了出刊时间，文章还没有被收录在这个数据库里，则要到Thomson Reuters  的网站（http://ip-science.thomsonreuters.com/mjl/）上去查一查这个期刊是否还在收录之列。

Thomson Reuters 提供了三种检索式：Full Journal Title、Title Word、ISSN。

你也可以通过期刊列表（http://science.thomsonreuters.com/cgi-bin/linksj/opensearch.cgi?letter=i）去查找。
