银行存款在无人认领的情况下这笔钱是怎样处置的呢？

由于对银行业完全不了解，写此文纯属好奇!

老人家教育孩子时，经常都会说，钱地上不生、天上不长，要靠自己去挣！而现实生活中，往往会有好些人不相信这个理，认为好运说不定就来光顾自己了呢！有时这种好奇和侥幸为骗子行骗提供了方便之门，比如根据诈骗邮件的要求提供个人的家庭住址（或者联系地址）、身份证号码、手机号等敏感信息,为骗子从网银、支付宝、微信红包等渠道盗取个人存款提供了非常重要的信息。发信人往往自称是银行工作人员，要求收信人根据信件要求，提供相关信息，以便双方进一步合作，以便共同分享某位已故的人员在银行的大笔存款。

对此类骗术，我想绝大部分人都不会去理会。在读到此类邮件的时候,我有时往往会暗想，是否存在这种可能性：银行工作人员将银行里多年无人认领的存款通过仿造凭证后据为己有呢？或者说银行对长期无人认领的存款是如何处置的呢？网上搜索了一下，各国在这方面的法律法规各不相同, 不清楚中国的相关法律法规是怎样规定的。

I often receive such kinds of letters to inform me that they'd like to find one to share a large sum of money saved in their bank. They claimed that the money depositors and their families are dead in accidents such as airplane crashes, wars,earthquakes, and so on, thus now no one claims the the saved money. "The staff in the bank" hope I could act as the relative of the dead to claim the rights of the deopisited money.

I know this kind of tricks to elicit one's sensitive personal information such as birth date, mobile number, family address (see the example letter attached below.

However, after reading various kinds of similar mails, I feel curious abou how the banks dispose one's savings when the depositor died or forgot the savings, and none of their families or relatives claimed the rights of the savings.

Can the staffs in the bank fabricate certificates or other needed materials and claim the deposits? If not, who will the savings transfer to ?
