Less work for me, and for you, from now on...

I used to correct "Fig. 1 shows ..." because a word should be spelled out if used at the beginning of a sentence. NOT any more; at least I don't care anymore. Why? I am working on the proofs from Prog. in Oceano., a journal that actually cares to do copy editing. The copy editor changed all "Figure N shows ..." to "Fig. N shows ..."


I also noticed that the citation style is changed to multi-names without "and" before the last author. Interesting simplification.
