It's a beautiful day in San Francisco. Still, we decided to visit some museums. We went to the Museum of Modern Art first, and then the Asian Art Museum, which is running a special exhibit, Out of Character: Decoding Chinese Calligraphy.

I don't know for sure, but if I have to guess I would think the Asian Art Museum is the largest museum for Asian arts outside Asia. I will certain return for another tour (since it's impossible to see even 1% of its 17,000 pieces during an hour or two--any longer walk will kill my back).
