俄罗斯疆域辽阔，横跨欧亚大陆。俄罗斯古植物学的研究历史很悠久，科学积累较为雄厚。可是，由于语言障碍我们对俄罗斯古植物学历史和现状的了解不甚清楚，对其发展潜力也很难做出较为合理的评估。在信息化、网络化和全球化的今天，我们愿意与俄罗斯同行开展各种各样的交流与合作，为发展俄罗斯古植物学做出较大贡献。

   俄罗斯科学院通讯院士Михаил Алексеевич АХМЕТЬЕВ（英文“M.A.  Akhmetiev”，姓氏中文翻译为“阿克米梯耶夫”）是国际著名古植物学家与地层学家，供职于俄罗斯科学院地质研究所（莫斯科）。

∮ 1 教育背景

   20世纪50年代末毕业于莫斯科地质勘探学院，1965年在俄罗斯科学院地质研究所获博士学位，1980年获第二博士学位。

∮ 2 工作简历  

1958—1965年：担任前苏联地质部远东地质考察队队长；

1979—1981年：担任前苏联冰岛科学考察队领队；

1989—2006年：担任俄罗斯科学院地质研究所古植物与地层研究室主任；

1992—1996年：担任国际地科联326项目主席。

∮3 学术成就

   М. А. АХМЕТЬЕВ（“M.A. Akhmetiev”著述丰富。

   2000年当选为俄罗斯科学院通讯院士；2004—2008年担任国际古植物学协会副主席（Vice President of International Organization of Palaebotany--IOP）。

   M.A.  Akhmetiev（阿克米梯耶夫）与中国同行有密切合作。
