名著《寂静的春天》Silent Spring于1962年问世。我已经通过馆际互借方式借阅1962年首版英文原著。

2002年是《寂静的春天》发表40周年。美国有关出版公司再版了这部名著：

Rachel Carson, Silent Spring (40^th Anniversary Edition). A Mariner Book / Houghton Mifflin Company, Boston and New York, 2002.[Introduction by Linda Lear and Afterword by Edward O. Wilson]

Linda Lear是Rachel L. Carson的传记作者，为这个新版本写了引言。
