Dr. Tao Yang (杨涛) is a young Chinese palaeobotanist who is now working in the College of Palaeontology of Shenyang Normal University (沈阳师范大学古生物学院) located in Shenyang city, Liaoning Province, northeastern China.
Tao Yang began his udergraduate study in the College of Earth Sciences of Jinlin University (吉林大学地球科学学院) in 2001 and got his B.Sc. degree in 2005. Then, he continued his graduate study in the Research Center of Paleontology and Stratigraphy of Jinlin University (吉林大学古生物学与地层学研究中心), and got his Ph. D. degree in 2010.
Dr. Yang largely focuses on the study of the Palaeozoic plants. His recent publications are as follows:
