Professor Jia-rong Mi (1930--) is a Chinese geologist and palaeobotanist. He graduated from the Department of Geology  of Tsinghua University  in 1952,  and then joined in the Geological College of Northeast China (东北地质学院) in Changcun—capital city of Jilin Province.

Jia-rong Mi worked in Changcun for over 40 years.  In 1996 he moved to The Department of Geography of Tianjin Normal University.  For more information, please click:--
