武夷山老师《List MUSE的百种传记作品》，又让我对照一下，读过的更少了。初步统计，读过英文本的5种，汉译本的13种，去掉重复16种。简写本、不同作家的传记都没有计入。

读过的主要是自传或回忆。如梭罗、萨特、沈复、切利尼、罗素、卓别林、马克·吐温、卢梭、穆勒、吉本、费曼、富兰克林、奥古斯丁、尼采、波伏娃。唯一的例外是《爱因斯坦传》

选择者似乎有非常强烈的左派倾向，甚至可以说背离了西方文化的伟大传统。难怪原来的标题为Rebels, Rulers, andArtists: 100 Captivating Lives，把rebels放在首位。事实上，当rebels成为风气的时候，维护主流传统也成了rebels。在这个方面，我觉得这个目录不够平衡。至少有两位，哈耶克和安·兰德从各方面看都应该入选。波尔没有入选也有些问题。

除左派倾向外，从选中《浮生六记》看，至少关于中国的趣味也不算高明。我个人读过也喜欢这本书，但不能因此就说它多好或者多重要。
