AMS最近通知取消彩图收费，这对我们这些在第一线的作者来说可是一个好消息。以前彩图收费最贵好像达到700美金一幅图，很多学者为了节约成本，不得已将必须要画成彩图的图画成黑白图，影响了论文质量。

AMS Color Charges Eliminated as of April 1, 2013!

AMS is pleased to announce the end of color charges for authors who pay page charges in full for all papers submitted on or after April 1, 2013. This is the culmination of many years of driving down the cost of color pieces for authors, most recently to $90 per piece.

These reductions in color costs for authors have been made possible by technology advances and savings in other areas. This final step removes a key financial hurdle for authors wishing to publish in AMS journals
