华东师范大学青年科学家（学者）国际论坛（生态与环境分论坛）是生态与环境科学学院在学校统一部署下开展的，旨在为海内外高层次优秀青年学者搭建一个学术交流的平台。通过专题报告、学术研讨、人才洽谈和实地参观等形式，围绕国际学术前沿，探讨学科热点问题，促进学术交流与合作，也为我院优秀青年学者的引进提供渠道。论坛至今已成功举办三期，来自海内外多个国家和地区200余位优秀青年学者参加交流讨论。

The International Forum of Young Scientists (Scholars) of East China Normal University (Sub-Forum of Ecology and Environmental Science) is regularly organized by the School of Ecological and Environmental Sciences (SEES). Its aim is to set up an academic platform for exchanging research progresses and ideas among high-level outstanding young scholars. The activities during the forum include presentations, discussions on academic topics and corporations, and on-site visit to labs or research stations. It also provides a channel for the recruitment of outstanding young scholars in SEES. So far, the forum has been successfully held by three times with > 200 outstanding young scholars from different countries and regions.

为加快推进上海一流高校和一流学科建设，加强新时代教师队伍建设，完善引育并举的人才培养体系，上海市教委全面启动实施了上海高校青年英才揽蓄工程，面向海外著名高校及研究机构，吸引全球青年卓越人才。“上海高校国际青年学者（生态学分论坛）”旨在面向全球邀请拥有生态学相关领域学术背景的青年才俊，围绕国际科学前沿、热点研究领域以及行业产业的技术问题等展开探讨和交流，做好国家级人才计划的申报和后备人才智库的建设工作。本次论坛由华东师范大学承办，复旦大学协办，欢迎生态学科领域青年学者积极报名参加，同时也欢迎广大青年英才进入华东师范大学专职科研与博士后队伍。

The Shanghai Education Commission has recently launched a project to recruit young talents in Shanghai’s universities and colleges. The goals of this project are to speed up the construction of first-class universities and first-class disciplines in Shanghai, to strengthen the team of teachers in the new era, and to improve the talent training system. The meeting of International Young Scholars (Sub-Forum of Ecology) of Colleges and Universities in Shanghai aims to invite young scientists with ecology-related fields around the world to join in Shanghai’s research team. The participants will discuss and exchange ideas in the cutting-edge research fields and technical problems in the industry. The forum is hosted by East China Normal University and co-organized by Fudan University. Young scholars in the field of ecology are welcomed to participate in the forum. Many positions of research faculty and post-doctors will be released during the forum.

      学院分论坛设立“青年科学家”和“青年英才（揽蓄工程）”两个人才序列，满足其中一个条件即可报名。

Two types of participants, including the "Young scientists I " and "Young scientists II" (please see their descriptions as below), are highly invited to attend the forum.

    （一）青年科学家：年龄在40周岁以下，具有海内外知名高校、研究机构博士学位，原则上具有连续2年及以上的海外科研工作经历（成果特别突出的可突破工作年限要求），在所从事的学科前沿领域取得突出的学术成果，并具有重要影响力。

(1) Young scientists I requires an age of ≤ 40 and a strong education and/or research background in well-known universities or research institutes. A ≥ 2-year overseas research experience is also required unless you already have outstanding research achievements. 

    （二）青年英才（揽蓄工程）：年龄在35周岁以下，已经或即将获得国外知名大学或研究所博士学位或国内一流高校或研究所博士学位，发表多篇高水平文章或论著。具有较大发展潜力。

(2) Young scientists II requires an age of ≤ 35, a PhD degree (or will obtain a PhD degree soon) from a well-known university or research institute with high-level articles or works. Successful applicants must have published influential works in the fields of ecology and related disciplines.

      学校为受邀的参会者提供往返机票（来自欧美地区的受邀者，往返旅费最高报销1.2万元人民币/人；来自其他国家和地区的受邀者，最高报销0.6万元/人；国内受邀者，按国家相关财务规定予以报销），并统一安排论坛期间的免费食宿。

The university will provide round-trip tickets for the invited participants (up to RMB 12000 yuan per person for invitees from Europe and North and South America, and RMB 6000 yuan per person for invitees from other countries and regions. Domestic invitees shall be reimbursed in accordance with the relevant financial regulations of the state). Free accommodation during the forum will be arranged.

        生态与环境科学学院成立于2014年，其前身环境科学系创办于1986年，是在环境科学研究所（创建于1978年）的基础上组建而成。学院拥有一级学科博士点2个，博士后流动站2个。学科发展效果显著，其中生态学为国家重点学科（2002）、上海市重点学科和一流学科(A类)。生态和环境学科入选上海市IV类建设学科，是我校牵头建设的“崇明生态研究院”支撑学科，新一轮学科评估中生态学科为A-。学院建设有浙江天童森林生态系统国家野外科学观测研究站、上海市城市化生态过程与生态恢复重点实验室两个重点研究基地，同时与普陀山公用事业管理中心联合共建“普陀山森林生态系统定位观测研究站”。

The School of Ecological and Environmental Sciences (SEES) was established in 2014. It stems from the creation of the Institute of Environmental Science in 1978 and the later foundation of the Department of Environmental Science in 1986 by ECNU. The SEES has built up a complete educational and training system for bachelor, master, and doctoral students in the fields of Ecology, Environmental Science, and Environmental Engineering. It currently has 2 doctoral programs and 2 post-doctoral stations. Ecology has been highly ranked as the key discipline in both China and Shanghai (A class), and recently listed as the first-class discipline in China. Both ecology and environmental science in the SEES is now maintaining several international research platforms, including the Tiantong National Forest Ecosystem Observation and Research Station, the Shanghai Key Lab for Urban Ecological Processes and Eco-Restoration (SHUES), and the Putuo Forest Ecosystem Research Station of Zhoushan Archipelago.
