For new readers and those who request to be “好友 good friends” please read my 公告栏 first
One of my “bad” habits is always wanting to finish my to-do list as quickly as possible.I view an empty to-do list as a pleasure of living stress free. But this is often not necessarily a good idea for several reasons:
1. A problem/task if left alone often disappears or resolves itself. Rushing to finish or resolve the task may not be necessary and results in wasted effort or worse being counter-productive.
2. Rushing into decision is not always advised. Wait for more information may simplify your decision processes.
3. More deliberation seldom hurts.
Fortunately, in my old age stressful problem/task arises less and less often. Perhaps I am now reaping the fruits of more worrying and planning when younger. Anyway, it is a joy of my old age to be able to reflect on life with few regrets and many pleasant memories.
