Professor Guanrong Chen of the City University of Hongkong well known for his scholarly contribution  in systems and networks (google his name and you will get hundreds of citations) has a “hobby” for  which he searches far and wide in the published world (Internet included of course) for interesting photos and thought-provoking S&T articles. He then sends these sources to his private  mailing list of friends all over the world for entertainment and for information. It is sort of his private blog.  One often wonders as to how he managed this search feat. He claims that he has a team of students helping him. In any case, I am fortunately one of the beneficiaries of his list. Long time readers of ScienceNet  have seen in the past several of his mailings which I found interesting and re-posted on my blog with attribution. Today I received another one of these thought- provoking articles he found.  I attach
