“图、画”的不同表达：drawing,用线条、阴影来表现的图；sketch，只表现主要特征的略图；cartoon, 漫画；illustration，插图。

“衣服”的不同表达：dress;clothes和clothing; garments, 隐含意思是，衣服是由不同部分组成的；costume；garb，能表明职衔的衣服；apparel; attire, 该词重点说衣着给别人留下的印象；gear,游泳衣（博主：该义项现在似乎不用了）；togs, 运动衣。

“干”的不同表达：dry;dried,脱水的；dehydrated，非但干，且呈粉状；parched,令人不舒服的缺水状态；crisp; dehumidified, 除湿的，适用于空气；desiccated,干的，比dried要正式些。

其反义词有：damp,deliquescent, moist, soggy, wet.

表达“一样的”，有：duplicate，两份东西，其中一份是原件；identical; congruent,全等的，形容形状、大小全同的图形。

其反义词有：contrasted,different, dissimilar, faulty.

表达“热切的、渴望的”之类含义，有：eager; intent,急切的，指行为；avid,渴望的；desirous,该词不大用了；keen; enthusiastic,指执行而不是期望方面的急迫。
