表达“不同意对方意见”有各种各样的词，如：contradict, 说对方所言与事实不符；deny, 否定对方的说法；gainsay, 信口开河；oppose，反对对方说法，但未打算提供证据；contravene，指出对方陈述之间的不符；disprove, 将已被接受的再否定掉；controvert，用事实推翻对方的说法；refute，只凭论证就成功地否定对方。
