都是“相符”，有coincide,表示完全相符；有correspond,比如两爿虎符的相互吻合；有tally，表示因为一致而correspond；意见一致是agree.

其反义词有：contradict,disagree.

都是“冷”，除了cold,还有frigid和frosty，前者表示已经冻硬了。还有gelid(极冷的）,icy, chilled, chilly.

其反义词有：balmy, hot, passionate,warm.

都是“染色、着色”，有color, dye,stain, paint。还有tint（着色于）和tinge（使什么带上一点色彩），前者是装饰性的染色，是要改变底色的。

其反义词是bleach.

都是“可燃的”，combustible比较正式，burnable是俚语表达。inflammable（易燃的）和flammable（可燃的）用于火警警示。

其反义词是incombustible和non-flammable。

都是“来”，有come, arrive, gain。

其反义词是go, leave.

都表示“放松，休憩”，有comfort,言心境安宁；ease和relaxation，后者含义较窄。relief是comfort的终极状态。leisure专指业余自由时间。还有rest和repose，都是ease的强化，repose最为正式，且带有抒情意味。

其反义词有：agitation, nervousness,restlessness, unrest.

都表示“舒适”，除了comfortable,还有cozy和snug,这样的舒适感来自友谊、温暖等。Keep snug behind the door则是“躲着不露面”的意思。
