我们发现了两个新的初等显式函数,在逼近标准正态分布累积分布函数时,误差小于著名的 Fisher z 变换。
Fisher z 变换(Fisher z-transform,Fisher z transformation,Fisher's z' transformation,Fisher's Z Transformation)在当前国内外数理统计学教材中普遍使用。Fisher在1915年提出该变换。
其中最简单的函数 Quadratic Radical Function ,已经被我们学校的TTU(Transactions of Tianjin University)录用。这个简单函数对某重要算法的改进,具有明显的积极作用。
另外一个新函数,即 Sigmoid-like 函数,被《Communications in Statistics – Theory and Methods》录用。
尽管 Sigmoid-like 函数比 Quadratic Radical Function 的逼近效果好,但 Sigmoid-like 函数的计算复杂,在对某重要算法的改进,还不如 Quadratic Radical Function。尽管精度增大了,但时间变慢了。这在实时使用中是不利的。
寸有所长、尺有所短。
