最近接了个活。

原来一个同事收到pra的审稿邀请，他懒得审，给编辑介绍我。

随便浏览了一下文章，感觉完全不在我的领域（只是有个概念我有点经验），但是我还是毫不犹豫接了，15天内给意见。

说实话，没打算花时间研究这个文章是否达到了pra的“高标准”，是否包含了enough new and significant physics to warrant publication in the Physical Review。本着文责自负的原则，无条件支持发表。为什么不呢？反正作者还引用了我文章嘛。

有人会说你这样是否太不负责，太不严谨。

万一文章有错呢？

错了又如何？！能够错出个惊天动地？

张益唐声称自己在栾生素数上有重大进展时，他的文章是对是错关系重大，但是这种文章错了又如何？

当年拉普拉斯从柯西那里学到了级数收敛的概念后，紧张得要死，生怕自己的天体力学一书里有错。但是这种文章你怕它有错干什么？它就讨论不到那么基本而重要的问题。

确实是个很基本的概念，但是大家认识已经很清楚。可是，nature，science，prl就是喜欢这种有噱头的东西，在编辑操纵下，这类文章很好发。于是各路人马积极跟进，搞各种矫揉造作的设计，附带不负责任地吹嘘有何种潜在应用前景。

喜欢给杂志分三六九等的人可能会说，即便是对的，也得考虑下是否达到pra的档次吧。

pra的档次有多高？

对绝大部分人而言，一个文章的价值或者说档次，很大程度上来自其所在杂志。只要文章发在pra上，那它自然会被读者赋予相应的价值和档次。

在马普的时候，跟N同学讲一个问题，他很不屑。结果我一google，发现一个澳大利亚博士后就那个问题发了2个prl，

再跟他讲，他立马觉得意义重大。

感觉当下全世界都进入到了过度科研的境地。因为各种现实压力，科研工作者制造了无数文章。这些文章不少都发表在档次不低的杂志上。可是，观察我自己的做法，观察我收到的那些审稿意见，有多少文章不是在马桶上被审的？有多少文章被推荐发表的理由不是，这个文章引用了我？

声明1：过度科研这个词不是我发明的，是物理所一位前辈的贡献。作为一个过度科研的实践者（自愿或被生活所迫），这个词击中了我的灵魂。

声明2：写这个博文还想说的是，现行的封闭的审稿制度真的该被颠覆了！！！！！开放审稿吧！这里顺便放个广告：
